According to the HCCH status table, Saudi Arabia (in force 7 Dec 2022), Bahrain (31 Dec 2013) and Oman (30 Jan 2012) are parties to the Apostille Convention, while Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Jordan and Egypt are not listed. Before 28 February 2027, Thai documents for all of these countries need Department of Consular Affairs legalisation followed by the destination embassy. After that date, members that do not object to Thailand will accept an apostille; non-members still require the embassy route.
