Does NMC accept Apostille or MFA + Embassy?

Thailand acceded to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026; it enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, so Apostilles are not yet issued. Thai documents are legalised at the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and then at the destination country mission where that country requires it.

Can Verification of Registration be emailed?

NMC’s new portal accepts secure email Verification from the Thai Nursing Council, but still requests a legalized hard copy as confirmation, so we deliver both.

If I fail OSCE, can the documents be reused?

Legalization is valid for 6–12 months. If you retest within 6 months, the same Verification of Registration works, but Police Clearance must be reissued every 6 months.
