ขั้นตอนการรับรองเอกสารโดยทนายความผู้ทำคำรับรองลายมือชื่อและเอกสาร (Notarial Services Attorney)
- 1ตรวจสอบว่าเอกสารที่ปลายทางต้องการคือการรับรองลายมือชื่อ รับรองสำเนาถูกต้อง หรือคำรับรองข้อเท็จจริง เพราะแต่ละแบบใช้ถ้อยคำรับรองต่างกัน
- 2เตรียมเอกสารต้นฉบับพร้อมหนังสือเดินทางหรือบัตรประจำตัวที่ยังไม่หมดอายุของผู้ลงลายมือชื่อ เพื่อให้ทนายความตรวจสอบตัวบุคคลได้
- 3ลงลายมือชื่อในเอกสารต่อหน้าทนายความผู้ทำคำรับรอง ห้ามลงลายมือชื่อล่วงหน้าในกรณีที่ปลายทางกำหนดให้ลงต่อหน้า
- 4กรณีผู้ลงลายมือชื่อลงนามแทนนิติบุคคล ต้องแสดงหนังสือรับรองนิติบุคคลและเอกสารแสดงอำนาจกระทำการที่เป็นปัจจุบันขึ้นกับกรณี

คำรับรองลายมือชื่อยืนยันว่าผู้ลงนามลงลายมือชื่อต่อหน้าผู้ทำคำรับรอง หากลงนามมาก่อน ผู้ทำคำรับรองจะรับรองข้อเท็จจริงนั้นไม่ได้ ต้องลงนามใหม่ต่อหน้า
ปลายทางขอ Apostille แต่เอกสารไทยออกเป็นคำรับรองของทนายความ
ประเทศไทยจะเป็นภาคีอนุสัญญา Apostille โดยมีผลวันที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2570 เอกสารจากไทยจึงใช้เส้นทางรับรองที่กรมการกงสุลแล้วรับรองต่อที่สถานทูตปลายทาง ควรแจ้งข้อเท็จจริงนี้กับผู้รับเอกสารตั้งแต่ต้น
