🇫🇷 France · Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa
We prepare the complete criminal-record packet a France national needs to file Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa in Thailand. Every step — from the fingerprint appointment at the Royal Thai Police Criminal Records Division to the sealed Apostille packet accepted by Board of Investment (BOI) → Immigration Bureau — is managed by one case attorney.
10-year LTR visa (Wealthy/Pensioner/WFT/Highly-Skilled). Under Cabinet Resolution 2022 + Immigration Bureau Order 327/2565, Board of Investment (BOI) → Immigration Bureau requires evidence that the applicant has no disqualifying criminal history — both in Thailand (where the applicant currently resides) and, for France nationals, in the country of nationality. The certificate must be current (issued within 90 days of filing for most desks; 60 days for BOI/Immigration). For France applicants this typically means combining a Thai RTP-1 with a Casier Judiciaire National (Nantes) certificate; both must be translated (Thai + English) and legalised.
The specific requirement stack for Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa makes this filing more complex than a generic tourist-visa criminal check. Board of Investment (BOI) → Immigration Bureau refuses packets missing any of: (a) the correct receiving-authority cover form; (b) certified translation in the accepted language pair for France documents (TH → PLUS-EN); (c) the legalisation chain required by bidirectional — thai mfa/apostille + home-country apostille/consular. We build every packet to survive first-pass acceptance.
You will attend the Royal Thai Police Criminal Records Division (Muang Thong Thani) with passport, TM.30 residence proof and current visa. As a France national ordinarily resident in Thailand you qualify for RTP-1 issuance after 6 months of continuous residence. We schedule the fingerprint appointment, prepare the TR-16 form, and collect the certificate on the 5th business day.
We liaise directly with Casier Judiciaire National (Nantes) using the Online Bulletin N°3 → PDF → French MFA Apostille → courier channel. Typical turnaround is 14–22 business days. For Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa filings we prepare the request cover letter in the format the receiving authority accepts, and courier the sealed envelope back to Thailand.
A Thai + English bilingual certified translation is prepared, matched to the receiving authority's template for Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa.
Thailand acceded to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026; it enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027, so Apostilles are not yet issued. Thai documents are legalised at the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and then at the destination country mission where that country requires it.
10-year LTR visa (Wealthy/Pensioner/WFT/Highly-Skilled). Legal basis: Cabinet Resolution 2022 + Immigration Bureau Order 327/2565. We submit the packet to the correct desk, obtain the acceptance receipt and monitor case status until issuance of the underlying document (Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa).
Where required for onward use overseas (particularly for France home-country filings), our Notarial Services Attorney (Lawyers Council of Thailand, Lic. No. 1851/2557) applies the notarial seal and signature to the sealed packet, satisfying the "notarised copy" requirement of most third-country immigration authorities.
Single case manager end-to-end. You receive a shared case folder, courier tracking, weekly status update and a compliance audit trail suitable for tribunal or immigration review. Deadline compliance is guaranteed within our stated 14–25-day SLA.

We check every certificate against the receiving-authority template on receipt.
