Compliance with Thai authorities
Legalization by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs follows Department of Consular Affairs regulations — paperwork must first pass Notary Public, or be Thai government-issued paperwork that the Department recognises.
Translation and certification of public paperwork for overseas use follows the ISO 17100:2015 Translation Services standard. Our certified translations are issued with a Certified Translation Statement and notarial seal.
Our Thong Lo office issues receipts and tax invoices under the Revenue Code B.E. 2481 (and amendments) with full 7% VAT — suitable for corporate customers claiming the expense or input tax credit.
Apostille procedure follows the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public paperwork. Thailand is not yet a member, so paperwork bound for Hague member states must always pass MFA + destination embassy.
