Using Thai court judgments and orders abroad
Divorce judgments, estate administrator orders or adoption orders are often needed abroad. We obtain court-certified copies and legalise them for use.

Quick Answer: Court Document Apostille
Court documents must be court-certified copies, often with a certificate of finality. They are then translated and legalised at the MFA and embassy (before 28 Feb 2027) or apostilled (after). Enforcement abroad is a separate question of that country's law.
Required Documents
- Court-certified copy of the judgment or order
- Certificate of finality if requested
- Passport copies of the parties concerned
- Power of attorney if we file for you
Certificate of finality
Foreign authorities often want proof that no appeal remains, especially for divorce; request it from the issuing court after the appeal period.
Legalisation is not enforcement
Legalisation proves authenticity; enforcing a judgment abroad depends on that country's law, so consult local counsel.
Route
Before 28 Feb 2027: court-certified copy → translation → MFA → embassy. After: Apostille for parties that did not object.
